I created these lovely vintage goblet illustrations a few years ago and am now prepping them for my etsy site. I may add some new goblets before I release them, but I kind of dig how they are now.
Thinking of blue and red for the main colorways (above). Any other suggestions?

I remembered my cute little lemon cupcake illustration from my summer birthday collection (available through pinklight design)
Then a dragged out my vintage find last fall. One of a very few vintage shopping trips I took in Georgetown just South of Seattle. My heart started racing when I thought someone else was going to buy it. AKA, no more shopping trips in Georgetown. I walked away with a very pricey little vintage ceramic pottery that sits in my guest room. But guess what? I still love it! It make me smile!!!
Finally, I put together a little collection of lemon inspired patterns for Surtex 2011 available through Pink Light Designs. Cute yes?

Monday, July 26th, 2010Julie’s Plant Sale
Monday, May 10th, 2010Julie lives around the corner from us in the most amazing little mint green house with yellow trim and lavender stairs…Her yard is a lot and a half and she is renowned for her annual plant sale. We thought we had missed it when we noticed our neighbors Jay and Wayne coming home with loads of plants from her sale!
After gathering the puppies together, Elliott and I walked over to choose our plants. We came away with a box of succulents, some artisan bread and a weekend of gardening ahead of us!
Check out the Olympic Mountains! It was a perfect day, with incredible weather!

I just love it when Spring is in the Air! I check my garden for growth progress every day and it seems to take forever for my tulips to bloom!
But bloom they do and I enjoy every minute they’re around!
A few years ago I begged my husband to help me clear out the front yard so I can have a cut flower garden. It was formerly all capped evergreens, not so pretty! Now it yields the most lovely flowers! I l o v e having them ready for a fresh bouquet for a dinner party, bbq or birthday! These are some of my lovelies from Easter.
Easter brunch…d-lish!
An adorable little terrarium I created with some moss and clover from my front yard. I got the idea of course from Design Sponge, but only followed the concept of taking things from my yard.
I kept eyeballing this round little ball of moss and thinking how perfect it would be for this project. Add candy Easter eggs and VOIlA! Lovely centerpiece!
Some fabulous breakfast food accompanying my bacon….
Finally, I keep my flowers long after they should be released to the compost bin. I just love the way they look when they are faded. My husband always shakes his head and wonders what’s wrong with me!
